Section 1.2: Meshing Process
Step 1: Create the block
For this geometry only one block is necessary, to create it go to the blocking menu, create block, 3D bounding box, and apply as is shown in Fig. 1.8.

Step 2: Blocking-Geometry associations
The geometry of this tutorial is very simple. Therefore to create the boundary fitted grid it is only necessary to associate the edges at the top and the bottom to the two circular curves using the tool Associate Edge → Curve from the Blocking Associations menu. Pick the 4 edges at the top and associate them to the top curve, and repeat the same operation for the bottom edge and curve. To display the association right click on Edge from the Blocking submenu of the Display Tree menu (Fig.1.9).

Step 3: Edge subdivision
To finish the grid the number of edge subdivision has to be changed using the Blocking menu, Pre-Mesh parameter, Edge Parameter: select one edge in each direction xyz, activate the Copy Parameter To all parallel edge, insert the number of nodes for each edge direction and click apply each time (Fig. 1.10). In the mesh shown in Fig. 1.11 the number of nodes are 21, 21 31 for the x, y, and z directions respectively.
